John M. Battiato is an attorney with over 25 years of experience in real estate, commercial law, and the oil and gas industry. He is currently the general counsel for a company involved in commercial and residential real estate development.
John and his wife Ruth purchased a home in the Copano Ridge Neighborhood in 2004, and are well aware of the issues facing the residents of Pct. 4 and Aransas County in general, which include:
- a fair and reasonable balance between residential and commercial development; and
- the thoughtful consideration of infrastructure, including drainage, water and sewer lines, electrical power, roads and bridges, and broadband availability; and
- the county’s taxing authority and budgetary needs; and
- the availability of skilled medical care, including an emergency room, a short-term medical clinic, and behavioral health services.
John’s extensive education, knowledge, and experience make him uniquely qualified to become part of Aransas County’s leadership team. His ability to understand complex issues and differing opinions will lead toward developing coalitions for the betterment of Aransas County.
